How to install drivers.

I have a NVIDIA RTX 3070 with a driver version of: 32.0.15.9186 on Windows 11. Intermittently, but twice today, both monitors remain black when awakening from sleep with "no signal". I have done everything I can and have come to the conclusion that to permanently fix the issue I need to install new drivers. I asked my friends and copilot on how to do this. The advice I received was to install DDU, use that, restart my PC, and then install NVIDIA's 552.22 WHQL.

I have never done this before and have a number of concerns, especially since I received some conflicting information:
A. How likely is the process to fail? I have gotten warnings that DDU won't work, it could mess up my wifi drivers, and that I might not be able to install any drivers, including my old/current version.
B: Do I install and use DDU, restart, and then install new driver? Or do I install and use DDU, install new driver, and then restart?
C: For A&B I don't know what the exact sequence of what to do.
D: I don't have the technical know-how that if this goes badly wrong I can recover from it.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks to SomeEngineer999 kind post, here is an update:
I plugged both monitors into different ports, used different HDMI cables, and ensured that all ports are clean, Cables are 4k and should be of good quality, which makes me inclined to believe it's not a hardware issue. In device manager I have updated all my drivers-they are all up to date. In control panel>hardware and sound>power options>System settings I have changed "change settings that are currently unvailable and turned off fast startup as well as hibernate. Under control panel>hardware and sound>power option>edit plan settings in "change advanced power settings" I have changed "turn off hard disk after" and set to 1,000 minutes. Oh! and I did the windows+B thing, monitors still black.

And also in advanced power settings I have changed allow hybrid sleep to off. I ran cmd powercfg /a: which gave me the result of the following sleep states are available on this system: Standby (S3) Hibernate Hybrid Sleep. Standbye s1,s2, and S0 low power state "this action is disabled in the current system policy".

After these changes the issue of awakening the computer from sleep mode still has the issue of "no signal detected" even though the pc is fully on. I finally got fed up with it because this happened twice today and while frustrating every few months happening twice in 1 day is too much.
