Is it just me, or have Austin summers felt a little less brutal compared to a 5-6 years ago?

Maybe I’m suffering from collective heat trauma from 2018-2022, but does anyone else feel like this summer hasn't been quite as relentless?
Don't get me wrong—it's still hot, muggy, and Texas summer rules apply (no touching seatbelts with bare skin, AC running 24/7). But I remember a few years back where it felt like we hit 100°+ by May and didn't drop below triple digits until October.
Are we actually getting slightly milder stretches, or am I just acclimatizing/deluding myself into thinking 96° with high humidity counts as "nice weather"?
How’s everyone else feeling about the weather lately? Did the heat break your spirit already, or does it feel manageable this year?
