Just traded my 2018 crew cab short bed for this bad boy. Took the ranch hand off of my old truck before trading and swapped it.

Hey gang, need to ask the Hive Mind for some help.
What I've got: 2016 F250, Lariat trim, 6.2L gasser, Crew Cab, just over 65k. Truck started it's live in Wisconsin (aka the Rust Belt)
I drive the the truck roughly once per week these days, but it was a daily driver for a while in there.
About two Friday's ago I start the truck and my dash turned into a Christmas tree, complete with bells and whistles. My code reader picked up nothing so I broke out FORScan and it came up with a handful of issues, one being the front-left speed sensor is putting out a high voltage.
I had a shop replace that wheel hub back in December, as the arthritis (and age) won't let me do that kind of work anymore. They replaced the wheel hub on warranty and the speed sensor errors cleared themselves, but I still had a few codes left in the system. The main ones being (copied & pasted from FORScan):
Code: B1048 - Brake Fluid Level Switch
Additional Fault Symptom (:01):
Status (-8A):
Code: U0102 - Lost Communication with Transfer Case Control Module
Status (-8A):
Code: U0102 - Lost Communication with Transfer Case Control Module
Status (-8B):
Code: C0049 - Brake Fluid Level
Additional Fault Symptom (:7B):
Status (-8B):
Code: B115E - Camera Module
Additional Fault Symptom (:55):
Status (-0A):
Module: Body Control Module
I replaced the Brake Fluid Level Sensor as that was relatively low priced and easy to do. Cleared the code and the fluid still shows low level. I measured the voltage at the sensor plug, key on, engine off: I had 10.7 VDC pin to black wire and to the ground screw on the firewall. The black wire had near zero ohms to the firewall ground screws.
I then started cleaning grounds. I found one broken ground strap under the cab, right behind the cab mount to the frame. Cleaned those connections and replaced with a new wire layered in heat shrink and coated dielectric grease. I'll be painting those later today.
I'm looking for suggestions as to what else I need to look at.
Are there more ground locations I need to check and clean? Likely, but I don't know where.
Is the BCM toast? I really hope it is fine, but not sure how to verify. It's talking on the CANBus, so that's encouraging but not conclusive.
Help, please? And TIA for anything y'all have to offer!
Asking price $88,992 for a young Tremor. Would cost way more to install this kit myself!

I need help identifying heater core return host component.
1990 Ford F-250 XLT Lariat, 7.5L (460 CID) V8, EFI, VIN G, 2-Valve
While removing the heater core, I discovered that both the heater supply and return hoses are extremely brittle and essentially fused to the heater core tubes. Rather than trying to save them, I'd like to replace both hoses while everything is apart.
The issue I'm running into is identifying the heater return hose assembly. It has a molded/plastic tee with a smaller coolant hose that runs back to the radiator filler neck. My understanding is that this is part of the cooling system's bleed/deaeration circuit, since there is already a separate overflow hose running from the radiator neck to the coolant recovery reservoir.
Does anyone know:
Any help or part numbers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
My father bought a bed rack from Trumgeta. Their description was misleading and the rack didn't fit. Contacted Trumgeta and thy said it was our fault. After showing them the problem with their product description, they changed the information on their site but still want to charge us hundreds of dollars to make things right. I've had a misfire on Cyl 7 off an on, I replaced top spark plug and it went away for a couple of weeks. It came back, I replaced wire, coil pack, and today the injector for that cyl. It's still misfiring but not as often? Like it runs great but will randomly start to miss on Cyl 7 under load then it goes away. Check engine light flashes for a few seconds, then it evens out. Before I replaced the injector it was constantly misfiring.

Any help is appreciated, I'm losing my mind and have to pull a trailer Monday.
I need a diesel engine because I pull my yacht but all my dealerships haveF250s with gasoline engines on them. Only F350s have diesels. Why is it like this when Ford makes u choose diesel o n tbeir website?
2025 Tremor Lariat. Bought it used and I’m just not familiar with what this plug is for. It’s not the winch controller…could it be a block heater?
I am extremely satisfied with these headlights, they're much brighter than factory, and they make the truck look soooooo good!
They have a cool startup too that's like a loading screen where the bulbs turn on one at a time starting bottom going to the top, and they're heated to keep ice off the lenses in winter.
I cannot recommend these enough, if you're looking at options Morimoto is the best option in my opinion!
19 F250, 6.2 Lariat ultimate with the sport appearance package!
I'm considering selling my 2023 F250. I love it but my situation changed and I no longer need this much truck. It's an amazing truck but it sucks as a daily driver and the Godzilla engine is quite thirsty. It's basically a pimped out Lariat with cloth seats. Only 19,300 miles.
Edit:
It's not a Lariat, it's obviously an XLT. I just meant that with all the optional equipment, it's got everything I'd want from a Lariat (don't want leather seats). Here's a list:
I'm trying to decide between the two. I can obviously save a lot of money going with the cloth in the XLT, but how hard is it to keep clean? Like most people here, I get pretty dirty working and dont want to make it look awful inside quickly.
Thats really the main thing I was looking for out of Lariat, that I can wipe it clean easy. The extra features are just a bonus but i dont need them.
Looking for any thoughts from people who have had both or made a similar choice
Been looking at this sub on and off for the last year or so, and I finally made the leap and got myself a rig for the summer.
It’s a 1996 Ford F-250 long bed with a 1977 Bethany camper.
I really appreciate all the great posts here. This sub helped inspire me to do this, and so far I’m loving it. I’ve been on the road for about 20 days now and figured I’d post the setup so other people can see what I’m working with.
The truck has the 8-foot bed. The only real issue so far was a cracked manifold, but my buddy welded it up for me before I left. Since then, I’ve put about 2,000 miles on it without any mechanical issues, so we’re doing pretty good so far.
I bought it because I’m doing a long road trip across the U.S. this summer. So far I’ve been through a handful of states, staying on a mix of free public land, truck stops, libraries, and whatever else works along the way.
Current setup is pretty basic:
The camper interior was redone by the guy I bought it from, and it looks pretty nice for what it is.
Right now I’m writing this from a library in upstate New York because I do not have AC and it’s about 90 degrees outside. So I am camping out in the library today, ironically.
I’m doing this because I wanted to experience the U.S. this way. It really does feel like one of the best ways to see the country.
Thanks everyone for the inspiration. It has been an awesome summer so far.
Hey guys back at it again I recently made a post on a 2021 I wanted to buy but it sold out:( . Now I’m lookin at (title) from a nearby dealer that is quoting me right at 66k out the door including taxes 6% and fees so 66k right out. I plan on keeping the truck long term (next 6-7) years and I plan on using it as a daily and work truck hauling trailers for my roofing and remodeling business. I’ve been looking into buying Ford Premium ESP for peace of mind just to be safe from the whole CP4 issue they’ve had as well as the CCV now wondering do you guys think it’s a solid deal? My goal is to get them out somewhere at 64k but if they won’t cooperate I’ll just have to go w the 66k. Hopefully I can get some feedback and I appreciate it :)
Picture includes ad [EDIT: FROM TWO OWNERS AGO]. (It is a 250, not a 350.)
7 MPG is what the truck reads, and I believe it, but I was under the impression I should at least have double digits, maybe I am wrong.
Am I unreasonable, or should I get a little more?
I found this post, and it makes sense for the stock 6.2L without lift, etc., but I was expecting closer to 10 MPG on my truck.
I mean filling up every four days versus every three days isn't major, but just checking to see if there might be something I could look into or have inspected to potentially improve it.
Just picked up my 250 with a 7ft bed. Looking for some guidance on a reliable bed cover. Would prefer a hard top that is water resistant, and gets out of the way. Any advice is welcome!
****EDIT**** Does anyone have any experience with a Pace Edwards Ultragroove system?
Used 2023, I cannot tell if previous owner leveled it. I don't see any aftermarket parts under the front.
I'm currently on 35's with quite some room and I don't notice a rake.
2026 6.8 XL w: STX Avalanche White
Been in a Passat for 3 years since my Silverado (5.3 1500 2018) dropped a lifter through the cylinder at 80K miles (fuck AFM!) I needed a truck and went with the Ford gasser, the best new engine you can get. Super stoked!
Picked up this unit for $2000 CAD/$1400 USD. It has 215,000 kms/135,000 miles. Needs a wheel bearing and some paint. 6.2L gasser. This truck opens a whole new world for my family. Looking forward to making memories. Anything to look out for or to look into?
