Safe console access (finally)

My 2022 Platinum came with the "gun safe" option. I never used it since I keep a pile of crap in the center console.

I looked into 3D printing, but fear of melting stopped that idea. So being recently retired and oodles of time on my hands, I spent about 2 hours cutting, trimming, staining, etc to make my own tray that I can pull out and finally access the safe! (well, for the wife's purse 🤣)

I added the black felt (double-sided tape) to the console and also the wood base so it doesn't rattle. 👍😎 Simple 1/8" plywood and glue.

Suggestions for beef jerky

Hi all, I just got into making my own beef jerky. First batches were "wet" style with Lawry's marinades, but I want to try a dry rub style next.

Does anyone have suggestions for a Penzeys dry rub that would make a great jerky?

First thought is Northwoods Fire, a favorite anyway. 😋

Second maybe the Tosa Village?

Please talk me out of this...

I just sold my 1911 RIA .45 ACP last week...and then I get this sale from Fleet Farm today (Wisconsin). Not a bad price for 10mm? My lesson from the 45 is "name brand magazines" to reduce FTF issues.

I mean, I have a beautiful leather holster for a 1911 that's sitting empty, but my wife already knows that was sold so I can't do the "no it's always been this color" routine. 🫤

I am fascinated by this model. I know Taurus isn't the best for semi's, but my .38 has been flawless. Have not seen it in stores yet.
