PSA to those getting new trucks

If you want the securi-code door lock code thing you don’t have to pay ford $500 to install it from factory; you don’t have to pay the dealer $500 for getting the stupid glued on one either, instead you can get $230 of the two genuine parts (the black door applique thing with the right cutout, and the keypad) and install it yourself. The actual connector for the code still is inside your door even if your truck did not come with the keypad. Ford just stuck a dummy connector inside of it. Follow this vid and you should be good

My new 2026 Lariat 6.8 V8 F250 in Avalanche Gray

It was so hard finding the exact spec that I wanted. Had to search every dealership in the country lol. The dealer at the other end of town just happened to order this exact truck that I needed. What mods should I do first?

2026 f250 lariat

Just picked it up today, it’s avalanche color and has the 6.8 v8. It’s great to drive and looks really nice. I just realized base lariat does not come with things like active cruise control or even lane alerts. Also surprised that ford decided to put an empty button on a lariat (last pic)

I got this truck and realized that it does not come with lane keep or even aid. It does have the front cameras for precolision assist and the side mirror cameras and 360. Upon opening in for scan I do see the options in the apim and ipc, has anyone done this before? I just enable auto hold too

Why are there two different grilles?

I’m looking for a lariat with blackout, but can’t seem to figure out why some of them have different grilles? It’s even inconsistant with the ford build tool

What is this sound?

2007 Honda civic, noise from back left wheel area when braking or making sharp turn to the left. Sound like a pulsing type thing. This car has drum brakes in the rear, but I don’t know if they would make the same sound if I’m turning without applying them.

[Sun protection] this stuff is great

I got minimum tan/sun damage last year and I went to Dubai in AUGUST. I just stocked up more of this for this summer! Kinda hard to get in Canada and had to order online. It’s called watery essence and it’s by Kao I think.

Like brand new

I got this phone last year and now it would die so quick and I just got it changed cause I was down to around 4 hours of screen time and it would die so fast. I thought it was just the new iOS. But the battery made it like new! It lasts 6.5 hours easy now.

How do I gain common sense?

I lack what others may call common sense. My brain often does the bare minimum when given a task, not attempting to think. For example, today I went into the store to buy a birthday card. Very simple task right? I go in, I choose a nice and funny card ( I took time to choose the best one ). In the back of my mind I was thinking (“come on man, you are forgetting something”) as I head to the check out. I try my best to think, but can’t. I check out and go to my car, where my brother is waiting. He asked why I took so long. I simply tried to find the best card. Anyways, we write a nice message on the card. My brother asks me where the envelope is for the card. I say “envelope” as my mind goes “ohh yeah that’s what I was forgetting.”. My brother asks if I lack common sense.

I know this sounds like such a dumb and simple mistake, but this happens ALL THE TIME with me. I just want to know how I can fix this.

Anyone else on the east coast?

All of my cherry trees partially bloomed this year with many of the flower buds not opening, only then to get hit by frost 😞. My peach flower buds did not open, leaves are out now, the buds just fall off. I believe it was due to the extreme cold this winter at -30 c. My ornamental cherries skipped flowering all together, the flower buds opened into leaves lol.

I believe this instagram comment section is filled with realistic bots talking with each other

They talk so… perfect. Like in perfect grammar and stuff but also they all have the same or similar argument. Idk the way they write does not seem human. I’m not going insane right lol?
