What on earth is wrong with my corn???
Is this a fungus? My 5 year old says its cause of too much water. Is it a pest reaction?
When the weird white super kernels are opened they're filled with black powder.

I saw this movie on TV around 1997 or 1998, but the style of the movie (hair, clothes, film grain) felt more late 80s, maybe early 90s. The overall plot that I can remember was a man and a woman have to stop some witch from turning people into animals and they do seem to succeed. Specifically the witch seems to be punishing people who are bad(?). I vividly remember the main duo visiting a businessman who was half transformed into a rat (because he was a 'rat' of a man). It had practical effects and he 'turned' into a rat in front of the duo. (He turns and yells at them and he has practical effects makeup to look like a giant half rat man and then he collapses behind his desk and when the duo come around a rat runs out of his clothes.)
The only other scene I recall clearly is the very end. They defeated the witch and they decide to celebrate by ordering pizza but the moment they take a bite of the pizza they become white bunnies on the floor of their well lit kitchen. The bunnies are real bunnies and they voice-over them like they can still talk and he says something like "Where did you get the pizza!?" and then it ends.
I don't think I'm conflating another movie with The Witches and if I had to take a wild stab in the dark I'd say it was a made for tv movie. Would love if someone else could at least remember this too lol even if we never find the name of this thing.
Edit to add: its live action, not animated. it isn't the witches, creepshow, warlock, or Willard. It was a kind of horror vibe but not like a real gore horror, just mildly creepy/thrilling. Vaguely feel like horror/comedy probably describes it better. could have definitely been part of an anthology.
My son wanted to plant corn and for the first couple months it was looking real good but a couple weeks ago the baby leaves at the bottom started yellowing so I gave each bucket 3tsps of blood meal. Around the same time the heat in my area came up and its been in the mid 90s everyday. I water shallowly everyday in the evening.
Now the leaves stay curled, stressed, looking and the tips have begun to yellow and die.
I'm worried to give more nitrogen because I dont want to burn them and im worried to water them more because I dont want to drown them.
Any advice??
