Lordgenome, dropping quite the cliffhanger! Luckily, we will continue on and you won't have to wait for what comes next! We are just getting to some of the best parts, so I hope that you will continue to enjoy our little community read-through. :) Once all of this concludes, I will resume with at least a couple years of artwork! We will likely be looking at some rare items, next. Look forward to it! Anyway! Another fantastic set of artwork today, even if we technically only get 3 pieces. Love the Gunmen, how smug Mr. Spiral King is, and the dramatic illustration of Viral! We will cap off this volume with another little comic, and I will translate the final words from Kotaro on this volume. Get ready for some fireworks in the next book! Awh yeah. Team Dai-Gurren is about to get real!

We continue on with our series of stripping down the characters, lol! Today is all about the Elite Four! Nonon's outfit always was one of my favorites! Even in this sketch, it looks so cool. :) We will see the other half of her segment later! Uzu and Houka are finished up, today! I think it is interesting to compare how different their bodies actually are! I really appreciate that they are all unique in their own right. On we go with the nudey parade!

More frames from this iconic set! We are approaching what I know to be some people's favorite scene, so strap in! Lol. Love that first illustration! These are the last of the pure leg genga, haha. Slice! Also, interesting detail on the bottoms of Ryuuko's sneakers. Of course, I've noticed before and have references, but! Headless Ryuuko day! Lol! These are all frames from that iconic scene, of course. I love these types of partial and composite layers! It just shows us how much work went into this scene and getting a laugh out of all of us! Sometimes Ryuuko has a face, and sometimes... She just be legs. :P

Now, we get too look at it through the genga lense! Just as stunning. I especially love the extra little details in Imaishi's correction top layer! Her anatomy improves. We have a wonderful mix of characters today, hurray! Absolutely love the sketch for Satsuki's key frame today! Such a great piece!! Mako's really makes me smile, too. The amount of detail in these basic first-step frames is just too cool. I never get tired of looking at raw material. Now! We are gonna look at the sequence where everyone joins in on Nudist Beach! Get ready for some Kisaragi, too! I will probably have to flag some posts, lol. Let's gooooo!

Another duo set for the sequence that we have been working on! Still too funny! I love the helicopter illustration, starting us off today. Definitely still has me giggling! The most noticeable top layer difference here is that Ryuuko's entire expression was altered! Hope you've enjoyed this iconic scene in genga. :)

Its Mako Friday! Hurray!! All of these brief frames are just too cute! I always love when I can cover the Mako sequences. :) All I can say is that Sushio's artwork here is just FANTASTIC. Love everything about these sketches! Another of my favorite Mako sets, honestly. This segment never gets enough attention, in my opinion! Happy weekend, lovely sub people.
