Frenchie growth concern
Hi everyone, I’m looking for some thoughts or experiences with something going on with my dog’s paw.
My frenchie has this growth/mass between his nails/toes that has been there for a a couple months and continues to grow larger. We already took him to the vet twice, and the vet examined it but did not recommend medication, treatment, or surgery at this time. We were told to basically leave it alone and monitor it. And describes it as him having an additional nail. X-ray was done and was confirmed it is not a tumor.
Today I noticed that it looks like there may be some blood around the growth, which has me a little more concerned. It also looks crusty/irritated in the area. And it continues to get bigger and bigger.
Has anyone seen anything similar with their dog? Does this look like an interdigital cyst, infection, wart/growth, or something else?
I’m not looking for a diagnosis—just hoping to hear from people who have dealt with something similar and whether it eventually resolved, changed, or required treatment.
