I see the same question everywhere:

“How do I actually start making money online?”

Not theories. Not motivation.

Just a real starting point.

Most people get stuck because they:

• Overthink everything

• Jump between different methods

• Or chase “trending” ideas that are already saturated

So they end up doing nothing. If I had to start from zero again, I wouldn’t try to be creative…I’d keep it simple: Sell basic products people already buy every day. That’s it. No hype. No guessing. Just demand that already exists. I recently put together a breakdown of 5 simple product ideas I’d go after if I was starting over nothing crazy, just practical stuff that actually makes sense for beginners. Not saying it’s a guaranteed win… but it’s a much clearer path than what most people try first. If you’re stuck in that “I don’t know where to start” phase, this might help. What’s been the biggest thing holding you back from starting?

I’ve been experimenting with product research lately and noticed something interesting: The products that seem to perform best long-term aren’t exciting at all. They’re simple, low-key items people buy out of necessity not impulse.

Less hype… but more consistency. It made me rethink how I approach product selection entirely. I recently mapped out 5 examples of these “boring but profitable” products and why they make sense from a business standpoint.

For those with experience have you found more stability with practical products vs trend-based ones?

Most people either overhype Amazon FBA or completely write it off.

The truth is somewhere in the middle.

FBA can be a solid side hustle—low barrier to entry, massive traffic built in, and real scalability if you do it right. But here’s where beginners get wrecked:

They launch without validation → guessing products instead of reading demand

They ignore margins → fees + ads eat everything

They rush PPC → throwing money at ads with no data or structure

They scale too early → increasing budgets before anything is proven

They constantly tweak → never letting campaigns stabilize long enough to learn

This isn’t a “get rich quick” model.

It’s a data game + discipline game.

If you treat it like a system and stay consistent, it can pay.

If you treat it like a shortcut, it’ll humble you fast.

I break down the real strategies, mistakes, and what actually works (no fluff) on my channel:

👉 No Fluff Profits (YouTube)

If you’re getting into FBA, don’t just consume content—apply it. That’s the difference.

Most of you aren’t “building a business”… you’re just funding Amazon with bad decisions.

I’m the Profit Phantom—and I’m not here to motivate you. I’m here to show you why you’re losing money.

Everyone keeps talking about “just start”…

No one talks about:

• Why your PPC is silently draining your account

• Why “winning products” are already too late

• Why most beginners never see profit

• What actually works when you don’t have thousands to waste

I’ve lost money doing this. Learned from it. Now I break it down with zero fluff.

If you want feel-good advice, ignore this.

If you want the truth, search “No Fluff Profits” on YouTube.

Most people only show wins… so beginners repeat the same expensive mistakes.

I did the opposite.

I made a video breaking down exactly how I lost money selling on Amazon — what I did wrong, what I misunderstood, and what I’d do differently if I started over.

No fluff. No fake guru talk. Just real lessons that can save you time and money.

If you’re getting into Amazon FBA (or already struggling), this might help you avoid the same traps.
