We can all agree that best-selling lists are worthless. I can’t even think of any books that aren’t a NYT best seller. What are some of your favorite adult fiction books that explicitly DO NOT advertise themselves as a best-seller?

(I specified sci-fi because it’s my favorite genre, but I’ll read almost anything. I tend to avoid YA and romance. I’m absolutely fine with romance as a subplot, but it can’t carry a main plot for me and hold my attention)

I started a game as Catherine with Greece for the antiquity age. I plan to switch to Russia in explo, but in rolls Machiavelli with Russia!

Can I select Russia out from under him at the age transition? Or do I have to kill him? Or should I just restart? (Single player if that makes a difference)
