Could this be asbestos

Recently moved into a Victorian house in the UK. Had an internet company drill a full fibre cable through the wall in the extension of the house to allow for broadband. When cleaning up after them I found a few strands of this on the floor.

I believe the wall may be part of an extension which was built 2004, however I’m not entirely sure. I’ve been told it’s likely fibre insulation. Any advice would be great!

Stagnant freestanding water in dishwasher

Recently bought a house where the previous owner left their dishwasher. They moved out a while ago before we moved in. Opened it today and there’s foul smelling free standing water, otherwise it looks recently cleaned.

Any tips on clearing this / sorting out the issue?

Sky Broadband ‘standard price’

I’ve just bought full fibre broadband for £22 p/month on a 24 month contract.

On my bill I’ve noticed ‘£46 p/month’ is crossed out next to my bill price as a ‘standard price’. Will my prices be hiked up next month / over the course of 24 months to the standard price of £46? Worrying that the ‘£22 p/month’ is only for the first month and that I’ve been swindled.

Do I need a key to isolate this type of outside stop tap? Or is it a twist by hand?

I’m looking to buy a bike to predominantly cycle to work, around 5km on cycle paths and roads. I’m also quite keen for the longer ride on the weekend or possibly taking it off road.

On adventure holidays I’ve ridden the Giant Talon which I felt was great for this. However, being a tall rider, I found I was hunched over and ended up with back and neck ache.

Are there any similar or other recommended bikes at the same price point for my first bike?
