Q4W: Why do doctors and medical staff take women’s ailments less seriously?

Q4W: Why do doctors and medical staff take women’s ailments less seriously?

There’s countless stories and news reports online specifically of women of all ages dying or nearly dying because doctors don’t take them seriously. A good example is this story right here, where doctors blatantly ignored this women’s abnormal ecg scan which led to her ultimate death. One of the medical directors even said if he was on duty that night that the woman would’ve been sent straight to cardiology. The death was completely preventable and problems were obvious yet trained medical staff thought doing nothing was the best option.

I tried finding similar stories about men but I didn’t find very much. I don’t know if it’s underreported by men (as they are less likely to see doctors anyway) or if doctors truly do take women’s health less seriously leading to many preventable deaths.

What causes this phenomenon and why are many health issues brought up by women dismissed as “dramatic” by medical professionals? Did you personally ever have issues with getting doctors to take you seriously?

If you aren’t rich, good looking, tall, high status, or some combination of all, then dating apps are likely going to be a giant waste of time and money for you. Not saying it won’t happen but you’ll have much better luck elsewhere without the humiliation ritual (hobbies, social groups, work, etc).

The tinder subreddit is full of guys who complain about not getting matches and is it any coincidence these guys aren’t the best looking or richest? Plenty of women are getting 1000+ likes on their profiles and an average face, body, and income will not stand out enough for a good chance to be chosen. Of course she’s going to choose the best one out of her likes because she simply can. You would too in their position.

There is no glitch or shadow ban that happens to magically resolve itself for attractive men. The only way to succeed on these apps is to straight up look better than your competition. If you can’t do that, then you gotta go out in the real world where you’ll have less competition and a better chance of being chosen.
