Tasting Menu at Home!

Thought I'd have a fun little date night for hubby and me... And realized that I can spend a fraction of what is charged outside and make a tasting menu which was deadly filling and absolutely delicious (even if I say so myself, haha). And! Fully vegetarian, which was so fun to cook, too!

Not the best lookers, but the best tasters!

So I've been experimenting with set menus as part of my offerings.

In pics:

Mutton Shepherd's Pie

Zucchini and tomato pasta

Dubu Jorim (Korean braised tofu with shiitake mushroom)

And then the special dinner for two menus, each priced at 2950+delivery (these dishes are all from this menu, volumes differ)

If anyone wants to explore custom dinner menus, or even daily dabbas menus, hit me up!

Basic dabbas start at 350 upwards. All home-made, all fresh, and all made to order. Menu prices as stated above.

And! Personalised customisations available!

Unfortunately, the service is most efficient for folks in the Western suburbs, because delivery costs to far South Mumbai and beyond Goregaon are trash.

But we can talk!

I have one night in BLR - what's a fantastic food journey?

I'm going to be around the MG Road area. My husband and I want to try something fun and new (we have been to BLR before and have done the usual popular stuff over years).

We're coming from Mumbai so we wanna explore stuff that isn't also available here (so no major chains).

Was defs considering finding a good steakhouse or something, but please tell me other things I can consider!

We will only have Sunday evening open since we will be at a wedding for the rest of our time there.

Crossed 50 completed orders (actually closer to 100 now) in three months!

I'm so bummed I didn't take pics of all, I'm usually so focused on getting the food to the person!

I'm so happy that I've found my people who enjoy food as much as I do... Everything from Lasagna to Shepherd's Pie to Ramen to Quesadillas to Bhaaji-Chapati has been lovingly made and dispatched, and I know I'm getting better and better, especially with the feedback and support of all my lovely customers ❤️

There are always things out of my control, but we learn and grow and improve and I just wanna throw out into the universe the absolute gratitude for giving my chhotu sa dream the support to thrive! 🧿

Pics:

Pork katsu (and there was a pork katsu ramen which I didn't photograph)

Mushroom Galauti

Chicken stew

Roast chicken

Kimchi (there was a kimchi jjigae I forgot to photograph)

Prawn khichadi and solkadhi

Pav bhaji

Butter chicken & jeera rice

Lasagna (veg, nonveg)

Got a fab request from someone for their lunch order today!

Leg + breast of a roast chicken with pan sauce + buttery mashed potatoes + zingy side salad. What a delight to make!

Was 450 excluding delivery, freshly made this morning!

Taking requests for food delivery

Hey guys!

I'm curious (and bored of making roti-sabzi everyday). What would you order to eat if you could get a pretty good version of mostly anything? And at what price point?

I'm a home cooking who loves to feed people, and I've sold Shepherd's Pie, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Lasagna (veg and non-veg), Ramen, Prawns Biryani, Fried rice and Manchurian, Prawns Khichadi, Mutton curry, and more over the past month.

So the variety is huge.

Would you want to order something?

Total game changer in the heat! Just pressure cook pumpkin with garlic, put the whole thing in a blender with salt, pepper, ice and herbs and blend till smooth.

I used mushroom and small cubes of potato but add like cucumber, cherry tomato, whatever. It's brilliant and filling and soooo nice in this hellfire heat!
