Hello,

I have been looking into getting into the cyber security field. For 6 years I've been at a labor intense job in a warehouse, gotten hurt 4 times and just want something different. Also although its a gov contract job, I've already hit the payment ceiling, and there is no way to advance. But I really am good at IT stuff, thats what my degree is in, but finding it hard to get my foot in the door. My cousin told me that getting back into Javascript coding is good to start with; as its used for back end .

Any advice on how to make the switch?

So I literally last night texted one of my best friends , "I dont think we should be friends anymore , sorry " because I don't want to be around anyone right now. We have been friends for 4 years and also my mom hates this person, because they aren't the same skin tone as me, and says i need to get friends of the same race.

We were planning to go to a anime convention together in the fall and meeting up/ hanging out until yesterday. I feel like im holding them back because they get to drive wherever they want and do all these cool things but im stuck at home.

They always have offered to drive me around, but we live in different states, so I would have to fly out there. They were going to do the 2 day drive it takes to come to the convention in the fall. But I dont know now, they haven't responded since .

Am I overreacting?
