Hey guys so me and my husband recently got into reading manga, i have been someone who enjoys anime for a long time, my husband on the otherhand hasnt and even now isnt really into anime.

For me:

So i recently just finished +Anima and before that I read Our dinner table both I very much enjoyed. Im coming to realize I dont care so much about plot I more so care about characters and i really like the sort of episodic type of style where its less about plot and more about just spending time with the characters and learning more about them and seeing them enteract through through there personalities so ideally id like something along those lines.

For my husband:

Like i said he doesnt really watch anime, he watched a little of Ruroni Kenshin and liked the small amount he watched. The manga he just finished was Beastars which he finished all the books so i imagine he enjoyed it. Movie and tv show wise he likes comedy and action. I know he likes the fast and furious series, the austin powers movies,grand torino, big bang theory, the ranch, that 70s show ect.

Hey everyone, I wasn't sure if I should put this under the "jam" tag or the "question" tag so please correct me for next time if i used the wrong tag.

I have never done a Game Jam before, but I decided to enter the Spooktober VN Jam this year as a sort of self esteem building exercise for myself, but I am wondering about pre-jam preparation.

I know the games actually production, starts in September, but what is generally allowed work wise pre-jam?

All the videos ive seen have tips for when production starts, and the jam page itself doesnt get super specific about what pre prep your alloud.

What is usually allowed before the jam starts as pre-production?
