Coolest job ever , A lot of the extras were hired locally as you can see

3 War Rigs on set Namibia , all 3 came back to Australia after filming , one was wrecked for the final rollover stunt filmed in Western Sydney
The other 2 appeared in the Fury Road stunt show at the premiere in Sydney in 2015, one sat in the forecourt at the Opera House and the other was used to film a live promo above on the Cahill Expressway, the government allowed the expressway to be shut down for 30 minutes with traffic banked up all the way across the Harbour Bridge.
Not sure how accurate the story is but the surviving tanker trailers may have been re used on the Furiosa War Rigs
One War Rig was auctioned and came without the tanker trailer and the angry buyer demanded a trailer so another one was built at the Furiosa workshop ( well that's the story )

One of the weirdest leaks from the set was the appearance of the Interceptor at a charity event in Namibia during filming in 2012 , the car was brought along and started up, it had it full set of prop items in the back
I think this was the first time we got a good look back then and we wondered why Miller would give this up while so much secrecy had taken place to date
