Baby spider monkey I saw on Facebook... Makes me so sad...

I hate to see another poor baby spider monkey being kept as a pet and treated like a human child. And even worse, this poor animal is being fed things like apple fritters which is definitely not species appropriate.

Howard and Coach

These are my two best buds Howard and Coach. I love them so much that when I moved to Thailand last year I brought them with me around the world. :)

Howard, the black and white one, is a little over 9 years old. According to his DNA test he is part chihuahua, miniature pinscher, and Chinese crested. He is our very dignified little old guy who thinks he runs the show lol. I've had him since he was a little 8 week old puppy from the animal shelter.

I adopted coach in 2020 and he was already a year old, so he's about 7 now. I have not done a DNA test on him yet but from his build and personality I feel certain that he's got some kind of small Terrier in him. He's got very strong ratting instincts. But he kind of also looks like a tiny compact Red Heeler so who knows, one day we'll test him and find out.

I love these little dogs so much, just thought I would share. :)

Monkey Lyly - I feel so bad for this poor monkey

This channel popped up on my youtube recommendations today sadly. This poor macaque is walking upright in all these videos (which causes spinal issues for them :( )and they're basically doing these little skits pretending she's like a human child in every video. Unfortunately the comments are just eating it up and talking about how "sweet" and "loving" it is.

Near the end of this clip the monkey is supposedly "dancing" to the music, but that does not look like normal macaque behavior to me (I'm not an expert though) and she seems very distressed. And the most alarming part is that in the handful of videos I saw, this monkey NEVER MAKES A SOUND. Could they have cut/removed her vocal cords? Is that a thing that people do to these poor animals? I have no idea, but it's just really depressing. :(

Beautiful betta fish I saw today at Expo in Thailand

They were having an Aquatic Expo at a mall in the area I live in near Bangkok, Thailand. There were over a hundred beta fish there being displayed and judged and I took pictures of a few of my favorites. I did feel bad for them in the small cramped display tanks but I couldn't help but marvel at how beautiful some of these are, some of the most beautiful bettas I've ever seen in person.

The way V pets the iguana is so funny to me

V literally just smacks it on the head a couple of times at the end. It cracks me up for some reason.. lol
