HR salary discussion

Recruiter asked for my CTC, I asked for their budget instead — fair exchange, right? Nope. Got told it’s “company privacy,” so I said fine, then my CTC is private too. They got rude and hung up saying they can’t proceed. If this is how they treat candidates before you even join, imagine after.

Monsoon Road Trip from Pune: Looking for two 30+ travel buddies (July 3–6)

* Hey everyone,

Two of us (30+ age group) are planning a 4-day monsoon road trip from Pune, and we have 2 open spots in the car! If you’re looking to experience the Konkan coast in its peak green glory, watch the rains hit the beach, and chill with some good music and card games with a mature, laid-back crowd, you’re welcome to join us.

# The Logistics:

* Dates: Friday, July 3rd (Early morning start) to Monday, July 6th (Return by evening).
* Starting Point: Pune.
* Destination: Dapoli

# The Vibe & Plan:

We’re aiming for a relaxed, monsoon-soaked getaway. We aren't planning a frantic sightseeing marathon—just soaking in the weather and taking it easy.

* Daytimes: Driving through lush green ghats, exploring misty coastal forts/historical places, and catching the heavy monsoon waves at the beaches (strictly from a safe distance!).
* Evenings: Hot local food (amazing Konkani cuisine/seafood, but vegetarians are totally sorted too), watching the rain from the stay, playing card games, and listening to music.

# Who we are looking for:

We are looking for like-minded folks in the 30+ age bracket who are chilled out, enjoy a great road trip playlist, and are down for team games in the evening. Whether you want to share the driving or just be a solid co-passenger, you’re welcome.

Note: Since we are expecting proper monsoon weather, just bring a raincoat, an umbrella, and a vibe that doesn't mind a bit of rain!

# Cost Split:

All expenses (Fuel, toll, stay, and food) will be split equally and transparently via Splitwise.

# Verification & Next Steps (Safety First):

Since we'll be spending 4 days together in a car and sharing a stay, we want to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. If you are interested, please drop a DM with:

  1. Your age and a little bit about yourself.

Once the initial vibes match, we will jump on a quick video call/phone call and meet up for a quick coffee in Pune before finalizing the trip. Looking forward to connecting!

Inverse relation :As u earn higher ur civic sense go down the drain

This morning, while enjoying a quiet cup of tea near a local puncture shop, I witnessed an interaction that left me reflecting on the importance of basic civic courtesy.

A BMW pulled up to the shop, presumably for a routine tyre pressure check. The shopkeeper happened to be momentarily away from his station — a perfectly ordinary situation. Rather than stepping out of the vehicle to look around or patiently wait a moment, the driver began honking. Once, that is entirely understandable. However, the honking continued repeatedly and persistently, which felt unnecessary and inconsiderate given the circumstances.

When I politely gestured through signs to ask why he was honking instead of simply stepping out to check, he appeared to take offence — which was, frankly, surprising, given that the suggestion was entirely reasonable.

Car pooling a good structure or just to serve as driver

I have been car pooling for a while. And happy to do so if the individual do following things

  1. Don’t ask to wait
  2. Be on time
  3. Respect the time
  4. The whole purpose of car pooling is to save petrol and increase network but the hard reality is that they put their ear plugs while sitting next to co passengers seat and listen to their music . Ki bhai mai to paise de raha hun to gaadi chala
  5. Sleeping in co passenger seat how it feels.
  6. If the co passenger person get down early the person sitting in rear seat don’t want to get down and come forward
  7. It’s an app based the individual don’t accept the ride but are ready to get in the car and when the ride closes they even forgot to pay. Jub Tak samne waala maange nahi dena bhi nahi but they remember to call when ur car sharing is available
  8. seen some peoples shamelessly having their snacks without offering how pathetic. if you want to eat go enjoy ur self but not inside when their are more people around u in the pooling.
    Bhai /Bhen Jub tumhe pata hai office se ghar ya ghar se wapis office jana hai why it is so hard to accept on app.wait hi kyun karna jab tak gaadi me beth na jao.
  9. Manage ur time efficiently

Mostly I give them one chance ask them politely to be on time and ask to pay once through message to pay.I don’t want to insult them in front of others and create a awkward situation for them

Feel free to add on top of it and let me know ur thoughts preference and experience.

Where are the manners and social scenes

Today I was in a small restaurant and there was a party I agree they paid for the location but it didn’t gave them right to disturb the peace of other people by popping Loud balloons one or two is ok considering celebration but strangely they didn’t stop keep on popping and lastly they have been asked to stop. These were all grown adults
