Hi everyone, I’m posting this because I’m out of options and trying to safely leave a domestic violence situation.

I’m 21 years old with a 3-month-old daughter. I’ve been in a relationship for 3 years that has become physically, emotionally, verbally, and financially abusive. There have also been situations where my medication was withheld during arguments, which has made things even more unsafe for me.

I’ve been working on getting out quietly and have made some progress:

I’ve saved $950 on my own
I’ve been approved for a new apartment
I’ve secured rental assistance and help with basic furniture for my baby and me
I have a job lined up starting on the 13th
I’ve arranged childcare through my sister once I move closer The only thing stopping me right now is that I’m about 650 short of what I need to move in. Once I’m in, I’ll be able to maintain the place with my job, even if I have to take the bus for a while. I’ve tried leaving before and it escalated dangerously. I’m trying to do this as safely and quietly as possible this time for both me and my daughter.

Hi everyone, I’m posting this because I’m out of options and trying to safely leave a domestic violence situation.

I’m 19 years old with a 3-month-old daughter.

I’ve arranged childcare through my sister once I move closer

The only thing stopping me right now is that I’m about $350 short of what I need to move in ($1,300 total). Once I’m in, I’ll be able to maintain the place with my job, even if I have to take the bus for a while. I’ve tried leaving before and it escalated dangerously. I’m trying to do this as safely and quietly as possible this time for both me and my daughter. If anyone is able to help in any way—donations, resources, or even advice—I would be extremely grateful. Even sharing this would help more than you know. Thank you for reading.
