Physiotherapy Erasmus+ internship recommendations in EU?

I’m a physiotherapy student from Hungary, and I would like to do an Erasmus+ traineeship somewhere in the EU after finishing my studies.

I would like to ask if anyone here has done an Erasmus+ internship as a physiotherapy student/physiotherapist and could recommend clinics or rehabilitation centers where I could apply. I’d especially appreciate recommendations based on personal experience, places where the clinic, the team/community, and the city itself were all a good experience.
I’m open to different countries and fields (sports physio, neuro rehab, etc.), so any suggestions or contacts would be very helpful.

Thank you!

Is safety training mandatory for Erasmus+ physiotherapy trainees in Italy?

Hi everyone,

I am a physiotherapy student from Hungary and I will hopefully do an Erasmus+ traineeship in Italy, starting from October 2026.

The clinic told me that before/during my traineeship I need to complete:
- a 4-hour General Safety Training Course
- a 12-hour High-Risk Workplace Safety Course

They also mentioned that this is required for healthcare environments.
Is this actually a normal requirement in Italy for Erasmus+ physiotherapy trainees or healthcare students?
Did anyone else have to complete these safety courses before starting an internship in Italy?

Thanks!
