Am I wrong if I didn't take my "friend" to a concert we were saving up for?

About a year ago, I moved in with my best friend in the city where she lived, about two hours away from my hometown. I had just gone through a bad breakup, and she helped me through it. We became extremely close, almost like sisters.

Then, about four months before our lease ended, she told me she hadn't been giving the landlord the rent money I had been sending her every month. I had foolishly trusted her to pay it. Apparently, we had received an eviction notice, and the day she finally told me, we needed to come up with a little over $2,000 that same day. My other roommate ended up covering it and basically saved us. It wasn't just my rent money she had been keeping—it was his too.

After that, she started acting really strange. Every weekend for about a month, she would drive two hours to visit her family. During that time, I told her I wanted to forgive her and continue living together, but she said no. She told me we acted too much like siblings because of all the nagging and arguing. I was heartbroken. She also knew I couldn't afford rent on my own with the job I had, so I had to start looking for a backup plan.

She started avoiding me, and then she told me she was moving out that same month, even though she paid the rest of her portion of the lease. Later, I found out through mutual friends that she had been telling people she was moving because I was "too clingy" and "too much." When I confronted her about it, she didn't address those comments. Instead, she said her family was going through something, so I felt guilty for even asking and let it go. She moved out, and we haven't spoken since.

Now here's where I'm conflicted.

Months ago, I bought us tickets to see a band we both love—the band we actually became friends over. She paid for the hotel, and the concert is in three weeks. Since she moved out, we haven't talked at all.

Part of me doesn't want to go with her anymore after everything that happened, but I also feel bad canceling because we've had these plans for a long time. I'm also really anxious about having that conversation because it feels rude.

Am I wrong if I decided not to take her to the concert?
