When can I stop pumping every 2 hours?

I’m 8 weeks pp. I had a difficult and long recovery so didn’t get on a pumping schedule till 5 weeks pp. I started supplementing right away to do weight and LO not transferring enough milk. I guess this led to low milk supply.

Anyways, I pump between 2 and 3.5ish ounces every two hours for 20-30 min (day and night) depending on the time of the day.

My question is when can I stop pumping every 2 hours, it’s taking a mental toll on me & I’m always tired.

I am still wanting to increase my supply; so I still do power pumps at least once a day.

If I pump for 30-40 minutes every 3 hours, will that make a difference?

All advice is welcomed!

How do I increase my supply now that baby successfully latched

I’m 8weeks pp. LO eats 3 oz every 1.5-2 hours.

We struggled since birth, triple feeding. Two weeks ago I decided to exclusively pump, with some nursing here and there, since he was not transferring milk efficiently. Currently I’m pumping 2-2.5 oz every 2 hours and 3-4 oz at night when prolactin is high.

When I started pumping every 2 hours I was only getting 1 to 1.5 oz so it has slightly increased.

Today I let him nurse and used the flipple method to get him to latch. I offered both breast about 2-3 times each. And he successfully nursed but wasn’t full. He drank 1 oz in a bottle and had some spit up. He was a very happy baby after.

My question is what can I do now to increase my supply.

Now that he’s transferring milk efficiently I don’t have enough.
