Long-time fan, but feeling a bit stuck. What are your 'must-watch' investigations?

Hey.

As a fan of the series, I think I've lost my way a bit. I feel like I've seen all the episodes, even though I only know the cause, not the details of the investigation itself. Can anyone recommend a good episode that's emotionally or technically stimulating enough? Or a disaster described in an article or recorded on YouTube by someone like Mentour or Admiral Cloudberg.

I’ve gone down the rabbit hole on many other disasters already, like United 811, 232, Überlingen, Gol 1907, Charkhi Dadri, and others (I won’t list them all to keep this short). If someone suggests a case I’ve already studied, I’ll just let you know in the comments. Other sources like Mentour or Admiral Cloudberg can offer new insights even on cases I think I know well. Od just a good Mayday episode is always worth to re-watch for a refresher.

Sorry for the long post, it was a bit hard to translate all of this from my native language while trying to keep the right tone, and sorry for any mistakes!

Facts that ACI missed

Sometimes, for example, Wikipedia or Mentour Pilot present certain facts slightly differently than ACI, or ACI omitted them. For example, the Helios 522 incident, and the flight attendant controlling the plane until the very end because the nose tilted up just before impact. What other facts do you know of that ACI has omitted, missed or presented differently than the current information indicates?

Hi everyone,

My foot isn’t extremely wide based on measurements, but in practice finding shoes is a nightmare.

I used to wear size 31 cm (insole length) — yeah, I know, that’s like 5 cm extra space. But in Poland there were no wide options like 2E or 4E, and my wide toes would still reach the front, basically locking my foot in place.

Now I’m 23 and my feet have changed a bit over the years (not really longer, but definitely different in shape). The old 31 cm sizes (Adidas 48, Nike 47.5, Puma 47) are now too narrow, especially the new more narrow models (all my shoes are ~2019 models but after so mamy years they are coming apart) around the midfoot. Even with that oversized length, my bunion area (big toe joint) ends up right in the tapered part of the shoe.

I’ve got a pair of Altra Lone Peak 9 (standard width, not wide) on the way, so I’ll see how those feel.

For reference, I also tried Nike 4E in size 46 — still too narrow in the midfoot and around the little toe (and honestly, it was a miracle I even found them in Poland).

If anyone has similar issues or recommendations, I’d really appreciate it.

Sorry for bad english, I dont really know shoe and foot anatomy names for parts
