I’ve been with my boyfriend now for 4 months (we’re both late 20s), and I love him so so much. It’s been going great, and I want a future with this man. Our dynamic is exactly what I want, and I’m more the masculine energy and he’s the feminine. However he’s predominantly the top. I have only fucked him twice, and it wasn’t for long. He hasn’t really bottomed much, maybe twice before me, and can’t go long. I’ve expressed to him I like fucking him and I’m historically more a top, and he enjoyed it but was sore from it. I (30M) have been with my boyfriend (28M) for 3 months. Mostly everything is great, it’s for sure the healthiest relationship I’ve been in. However, there is one recurring theme that has been bothering me. I’ve addressed it 5 different times with him, but it keeps happening. Basically, my boyfriend will often read my texts with read receipts, not respond, and then send me TikTok’s or insta posts before responding to my texts. I don’t usually mind if I didn’t say anything needing a response, or I just sent an update that wasn’t important and not getting a response doesn’t bother me. But tangentially related, so many times when he texts me back, he doesn’t acknowledge the things I say. This even has started to happen in person, most recently he was telling me about him renewing his lease and I gave an update on my housing plans, and he just didn’t engage with it at all or even look at me while I was talking.

How do I not let this upset me? Would you be upset too?
