For people who took the Master by Coursework + Dissertation route at Nanyang Technological University, what was it actually like?

I’m trying to decide between dissertation vs coursework-only, so I’d like to hear real experiences.

Was the dissertation stressful?
How research-focused was it?
Was it manageable with the coursework?
Do you think it was worth choosing?

كشخص اول مره بيسافر ايش الاشياء الي ممكن تركزون عليها وتحطوها بالليست قبل السفره؟

I’m an incoming international student starting at NTU this August, and I’m currently searching for private accommodation in Singapore.

I’m looking for a fully private studio/apartment (not shared) with a private bathroom and kitchen.

I wanted to ask:
- Which areas are most convenient for NTU students?
- What’s the usual monthly rent range for a private place?
- Which apps or websites do students usually use to find rentals?
