[Friday, 11 September 2026 08:32 PM UTC] ESCALATED: We're currently seeing long loading times and "Sorry something went wrong" pop-up errors on the site. Devs have been notified.
[Friday, 11 September 2026 08:35 PM UTC] INVESTIGATING: Devs are looking into what the issue could be. Possible blip as site is rebooted.
[Friday, 11 September 2026 09:30 PM UTC] FIX PUSHED: Site should be back to normal; please understand that we are currently under high traffic (weekends) so you may encounter longer response times across all models. [Friday, 11 September 2026 09:58 PM UTC] ONGOING: Devs have been notified again of ongoing issues.
Space. The final frontier. Its continuing mission? To explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before...
The theme this month is:
More specifically, we're looking for sci-fi scenarios that do not take place on earth (in the depths of space, on an alien planet, floating adrift on space station).
Accepted companions will award you the Orbital Buddies spice (it's so cute guys trust me)!
>Our server has grown over the past few months, and during that time we've noticed an increase in concerning behaviors. Due to this, we just wanted to take a moment to remind everyone that all staff must be treated with respect. Regardless of if we're just chatting, redirecting you to other channels, or intervening in situations within the server or other platforms; ignoring the instructions of, belittling, or otherwise disrespecting a member of the staff team will not be tolerated and may add or increase any warnings, punishments, or otherwise we hand out.
>Our staff team works hard to make sure the server, site, and Reddit are a welcoming environment. Disrespecting our team on any of these platforms directly violates our "respect for all" rule that is present on each of them. We have been lenient with these behaviors recently due to allowing people time to adjust to new environments, but we will no longer be lenient and will begin handing out punishments as we deem fit. Thank you for understanding!

Edit: The Faithful and The Fallen Books 1 and 2
These two absolute heffers (seriously, I feel like I could do some weight training with these books) just turned up, and they're honking gorgeous, and I forgive the wait for them (not saying this should be a continuous reason for delays though).
There are the tiniest defects (like a small scratch and that annoying tiny dot on the back of book 2's dust jacket) that I know TBB won't do anything for, but overall, I'm more than happy with this for the price I've paid too.
Summer is for chillaxing with the homies in the heat! 🏄 So its getting hot, like way hot… So maybe we should turn the heat down for this event.
This month is all about Friendship! We're celebrating July 30th, the International Day of Friendship, by asking you guys to make companions who are BFFs, pals, childhood friends… So long as there's a focus on friendship!
Just for those who don't read the event rules: We're looking for focus on friendship first over romance. We ask for no “secret yearnings”, no “been in love with for years”; just plain, intended friendship. NSFW elements are permitted in the core defs, but all scenarios must explicitly establish user through friendship*, not a romantic interest.*

Unfortunately, the platform is experiencing some more issues. We've let the devs know, will update when things are settled down again.
We're still experiencing hiccups on and off (as you can see) over the last few days.
Devs are aware and looking into it in hopes to reduce/eliminate this from happening.
Edit: Resolved

Will update when things are rolling again.
We're halfway through the calendar year, and we thought we would think outside the box a little this month...
## Nautical
This month, we're hopping on our water-faring vessels and hoisting the sails, because we are all about open water and the sea this time!
Whether they're a mermaid captured on a ship, a siren luring sailors from a crow’s nest, as long as it takes place on a vessel, accepted companions will earn the Sinking Ship spice!

Hi all,
Saucepan should be back up and running now (Crumb had to do some digging in the internals).
Please let us know if you're still having any issues (in particular around Arita)!
Site is currently down, have let devs know.
Edit: From the devs "One of our transit providers is having major latency issues. Our LLM servers are healthy, but getting requests very, very slowly"
We will continue monitoring.

Hi,
Cloudflare is having issues currently, which is why our image uploader is not working.
