Or can i only write as my own persona? I want to shape story a bit and help chat but it always write it with my persona name. Is there any setting to write as bot or narrator beside just editing already generated comment from bot?

Im wanting to do like a multiverse rp with a few extra games and media on an rp bot, but it seems I can only add one lorebook to a chat at a time. Do I have to add all the characters I want to one lorebook, or am I doing something wrong?

Had a request for a Warhammer 40K bot.

Someone wants a futa Aeldari woman, captured and you're the one who's interrogating her.

I cannot for the life of me get a working image (SFW). Using Eldar or Aeldari doesn't get me what I need, and if I type Warhammer 40K I get women in space marine armor. lol

If possible, I'd like the woman to be standing in the wreckage of a shuttle. But just her a bit battered is fine.

I was trying out the Formatting Instructions and I put something in the Formatting Instructions and went back to chatting and when I realized it wasn't responding like how I put in the Formatting Instructions. I went back into settings to fix it only to see the whole thing I typed out. disappeared 😭 and I didn't save it to my clipboard. But anyways, every time I typed out something new and left settings and went back to it like four more times and still the same thing. It disappeared.

Hi guys, so I'm creating my first companion on here since I want kind of an open world RPG of the Titans since theres currently really just nsfw bots for specific heros. Except Im twisting it a bit so the team is based in Blüdhaven and consists of both OG and new gen heroes:

Nightwing (Dick), Robin (Jason), The Flash, Wonder Girl, Beastboy, Cyborg, Raven, Starfire, + my OC when the chat starts.

So my issue is, I'm lost. Im not too sure if I'm even 'coding' this right. I've got a description but I'm not too sure how the template variables work and if i even need them. Im a visual learner so the instructions are really just getting lost in translation. I still dont entirely understand what an advanced prompt does and why you can have 10 of them. I was able to teach myself how the lorebooks work but creating this companion has been a whole other story

Desde hace algún tiempo que he estado usando la página. Venía desde otro lugar, en dónde algunas cosas no estaban funcionando muy bien y se tornaron algo raras (para no decir nombres, llamémosle J). Es en eso que descubrí Saucepan.

Aquella mudanza fue algo que se pudo dar gracias a lo intuitivo que sentía que era la página, a comparación de otros lugares que probé. Poco a poco fui probando cosas, he estado experimentando. Y he estado observando también los avances y las cosas nuevas. Y sin duda ha sido maravilloso.

De partida, los bots utilizados, incluso los básicos, siento son increíbles. Yo soy hablante nativo de español, no manejo bien el inglés. Pero los bots han sabido trabajar en mi idioma con una perfección que no había visto antes en ningún lugar.

Las cosas nuevas que han llegado han sido maravillosas. El asistente para los chats, los ajustes para simplificarlo, ha sido algo que en verdad me ha encantado.

Por todo eso y más, es que estoy aquí. Lamentablemente no tengo dinero como para pagar una subscripción o donar, cuestiones que sin duda haría porque este lugar realmente vale la pena conservarlo. Es por eso que, como muestra de cariño, hago este post (que espero se entienda, que lo escribo en mi idioma nativo, el español; no manejo con plenitud el inglés).

No seriously guys, where has the creativity gone?

I love browsing the "New" section to maybe give support to new creators, but 99% of the content I see is women with really huge body parts slapped there on the profile, no plot, no effort to make them inspiring to chat with, no evolution in the character or the story, I mean, why do you even publish this kind of bots??

I remember when I first started chatting with bots there was a bigger variety of bots with actually well done plots even if it was just smut stuff, now it's all either copy and paste or slop thrown in there just to do something!

Please note: this isn't a complaint on my part, but rather perhaps an invitation to those reading this post to create more interesting content, if you're one of those who publish slop.

P.S. No, don't come and tell me "just block the creator" I'm not interested in doing it unless it's too invasive, but as much as I enjoy it, I hope there's someone like me who agrees and who makes real content.

I would also be happy to see some work from some creators, send me your bots, I'm curious :)

I’ve been updating my bots after the recent platform updates, and I noticed that the Simple Response Instructions can override character behavior, especially on the smaller models.

Custom Response Instructions can also do this, but the Simple version seems much more aggressive—to the point that the models, especially Arita and Experimental, behave like entirely different characters depending on which options are active.

I have some SFW characters with full personality sheets and explicit locks against sexual or otherwise NSFW interactions.

The companion I'm currently working on is asexual but capable of romantic attraction. I tested the Simple Response Instructions with Romance and Fast Pace enabled. The bot behaved like someone else entirely: half of her personality disappeared, and she became receptive to sexual interactions. All four models accepted the interaction without objecting.

I then tested the same scenario using the following Custom Response Instructions:

Never speak, act, think, decide, or react for {{user}}. Response must be 3 paragraphs max. Be romantic and proactive.

The difference was huge. Even though the custom instructions still encouraged romance, she behaved as she should and maintained her established personality and boundaries.

• She went from “giggles sex time” to “WTF are you doing, dude?!”

I then added two extra reinforcements in the AP and Response Formatting, and that made Hirosaki and Tatsuno behave (kind of), but Arita and Experimental were still following the Simple Response Instructions blindly.

There's also the problem that users can override both the AP and now the author's Response Formatting.

That is concerning to me because I’m extremely protective of my SFW companions—and really, of any companion’s characterization in general. I want them to remain consistent with how they were written, regardless of which response settings users select.

Hi everyone! I’m back after over a month. I had to step away for a bit because my cat passed away really suddenly while I was working on a lorebook, and I honestly just didn't have the heart to write or play for a while.

But I’m back now, and I finally finished a new companion (not published yet) and a lorebook! I’ve been testing them with the new response instructions using Arita, and wow, they work so well. Huge thanks to the staff and devs for keeping Saucepan so amazing while I was gone. It’s really good to be back 🩷

I switched from chai to sauce pan but after the switch using sauce pan feels so off. I feel like the ai responses are way too long, the ai adds too much filler information and they struggle to move the scene (example, character and user has a long hug. Try to pull away they pull back and repeat).

I also try to use:

(Ensure responses are a maximum 1 paragraph long describing the narrative, and include {{char}}'s dialogue. Leaving the response open ended for player to engage with. Push the story forward by adding in events fitting for the scenario.)

But it just makes one long response paragraph with a small sentence of dialogue.

Am I missing a setting or something?

Hi everyone, I entered my chat list today and I suddenly just have one bot? I still csn talk with the others, I have open in different tabs, but for some reason I can see them on the chats tab.

Please help :(
