Hello! I’m looking into non-smartwatch wearables and of course Oura ring popped up. The device seems really appealing but my only hesitation is it seems to get knocked for its fitness tracking.

I’m not looking for crazy amounts of data, just something I can wear on runs to know that I ran and burned some calories. Same with lifting (I wouldn’t wear the ring to lift), just something I can sync with an app to say that I worked out.

Everything else from the ring wellness wise sounds awesome, I just want to better understand the fitness side from real users.

Thank you!

Hello - first time poster here so I’m sorry if I’m breaking any rules.. I’m basically asking the title here - what recommendations does this community have for non-watch trackers?

I’d probably say I lean more to the casual side of things, so I’m really just looking for good general health metrics, some basic exercise (time, calories, effort) tracking for runs, peloton, and lifting, and sleep tracking.

I don’t want to get hammered with notifications on my wrist and I like to wear watches which is why I’m avoiding smart-watches.

Right now I’m leaning Oura ring but realize I’d have to take it off for lifting and track that elsewhere. Otherwise I know about Whoop and not much else.

Thanks in advance!
