Why are we pretending the game is playable?
At this point it is common knowledge that there's a memory leak which WILL make your game crash after 2-3(depending on your VRAM) fast travels from the hunter's dream.
that means guaranteed and reproducible crashes using completely normal and frequent behaviour.
other than this the random skyrocketing of gpu usage one minute to the next which is only resolved upon a restart, which tanks frame rates on lower end gpus
is this our standard for a functioning emulator? what went so wrong?
don't get me wrong I have nothing but respect for the open source projects and their developers but you have to be objective about the experience when you say the game is playable.
It is VERY CLEARLY not and there's no pathway for fixing the memory leak as well going by the discussions I have read
So why are we lying to ourselves and everyone that this is good enough?
