I’ve been building an app called AsIf that acts like a fun personal stylist using your actual wardrobe, and I’m looking for real people to test it and give honest feedback.
Not trying to hype it up or sell anything, I genuinely need outside opinions before taking it further. I looked through the sub's rules but if this kind of post isn’t allowed here, please let me know and I'll be happy to remove it.
Some of the main features:
• Pain free quick onboarding with no required quizzes. the app learns as it goes.
• UI themes based on your favorite fashion eras
• You photograph up to five items at once and the app automatically categorizes them, removes backgrounds, tags items, and organizes everything into a digital wardrobe.
• It generates outfits from your own wardrobe based on occasions, weather, or anything custom you type in.
If you dislike an outfit, you can thumbs-down specific pieces and it learns from the feedback.
• It personalizes suggestions using things like your coloring, jewelry preference, proportions, and overall style direction.
• There’s also a trend page that maps current fashion trends to your personal wardrobe/style instead of just showing random aesthetics.
• It can identify wardrobe gaps and suggest pieces that would actually work with what you already own.
• You can even use it while shopping by taking photos of items to see if they match your wardrobe
The AI side runs on Gemini 2.5 Flash.
