I don't feel like my usual denim miniskirts are cutting it. Maybe a more colorful skirt/pair of bottoms, but then what would that be exactly? Honestly I just can't dress so any recommendation that could go with this is good (jewelry, shoes, purse, etc.)

Need a formal outfit for these doesn’t have to be too dressy.

I have an issue where I can’t justify buying nicer things till I’ve tried everything else, I’m a new mom and we have one income but my husband never tells me no, but I restrict a lot and budget a lot. I thrifted 3 dresses trying to tell myself I could live without this one, it’s stupid but stuff like this shape hide my postpartum belly and the pattern is so me, I feel guilty still but I know I’d wear it a lot. I love it. I’ve been eyeing it for a really long time. This is the first kinda expensive piece of clothing I’ve bought for myself since being married, I’m so much more blessed than I deserve.

Received this skirt recently as a gift and I think it’s rlly cute! Problem is I have no idea what sort of shirt to wear it with 😅 mainly I’m not sure what sort of colours I should pair with it plus what KIND of shirt, and how loose or tight. I have a lot of colour options, as well as different styles of t shirts, long sleeves, camis, tube tops etc. im also open to suggestions on socks, since i tried wearing black pantyhose under it but it didn’t rlly mesh well with the skort part beneath it, and also visually it wasn’t that nice looking lmao. I have worn other skirts before, but this one is noteably puffier than the ones I have which I feel is throwing me off when trying to style it lol

With the hotter weather that’s oncoming I’m mainly seeking advice for what sort of shirts I can wear with it in the summer. Thanks for reading my essay above and I look forward to reading some suggestions!
