I kinda thought I'd see the girls going this time, but I just checked their schedule and they're busy on the 21th 22th and 28th this month, and on october's 1st. The highest chances of a brand I think they could go are either Courreges again and Isabel Marant, but Courreges show is september 30th and Isabel Marant october 1st. But they'll be busy with university festivals. Which I get it, it's always a big deal and it's good for them, but sadly then I don't think we'll see them there this time :(
But also who knows, there are other brands, it could happen some surprises...
you know, i was really surprised with how well what is doing. i saw the streamings for both what and don't mind me on spotify and the difference is insane. especially considering don't mind me came out in april. when i first heard the teaser for what i was really interested and when i first listened to was first a big shock because they never recorded anything like that, so that was interesting. just sharing this because lately is growing more on me, i was listening mostly only sweat. and that's a similarity for both what and don't mind me, because it took a while for them to grow on me. but they're really nice songs.

So, do you guys think this summer comeback will be just a digital single album like sticky or there are chances of being a mini or full album? In my head, things would be similar to 2024, so 2 single albums and then a full album, which would come around october/november. But since their comeback will only happen in august, i don't think there's another comeback on the way after that, still on this year.
most of the fandom is stuck on the deja vu thing and comparing 2024 to 2026, like me. and i just saw someone on twitter saying that if they're really going with that, the comeback might be on july 20th, a week before Waterbomb because Sticky was released a week before Waterbomb performance. which makes sense. but now i'm not sure if the announcement will happen so soon, considering the gap between sticky announcement and its release was less than two weeks last time, it will probably happen between july 6th and 10th.
i feel like the announcement will come if not today, tomorrow.
but it's happening lol i don't think their next comeback will be only byt the end of the year.

i always see kissys saying it's their worst title track and i know it's opinions, personal. but i personally would choose get loud over igloo any day. i love the choreo, i love the mv, the bridge. it will always be one of my favorites.
it's a little sad the girls don't perform it so much, like on universities festivals, get loud is never there lol and i get it, they choose the ones that were biggest hits, like igloo, midas touch, sticky are always there.

I was actually writing about the chances of Natty going to Isabel Marant’s next show in Milan next Saturday, the 26th, but then I just realized their fan meeting in Japan is on the 27th, so yeah... that's not happening lol too bad
But I do think she might get announced as a brand ambassador soon, who knows. She attended their last show, and a few weeks ago when the girls were at the airport, Natty was wearing Isabel Marant from head to toe. I also remember seeing someone on Twitter mention that a person from the brand started following her. So I don't know, but it would be really cool to see her land a deal with a globally recognized brand. I'd love that for her and for the other girls too.
I'm just not really sure which brands I'd want for the others.
For Natty, honestly, I was hoping for Dolce & Gabbana.
For Julie, I think Isabel Marant fits her really well.
For Belle, I'd say YSL. there was a day when she was wearing the brand from head to toe too.

I've been listening Lee Hyori a lot, and there's this song that I think Natty could do a perfect work recriating, especially because she has a strong hip hop foundation on her dance. It's not her most famous song or anything, but it's really good. Natty if you're around....
Also, i remember when they were touring in Japan and each did a cover there, and it just made so much sense Natty covering Double. I love her music too, it was just perfect. I hope she covered some other in the future. Like Handle idk, and btw if you're not familiar with her music, it's very worth a try.

Tomorrow marks one year since Kiss of Life's 224 album. What's your opinion on it a year later? Has it changed at all?
Personally, I've always had strong opinions about this album. First of all, I still don't like the cover, still don't like those wigs lol I wish they had kept the aesthetic from those white outfits and used that for the album cover instead.
Back then, I didn't think it was their most cohesive project. I felt like the songs didn't have much connection to each other, even though I liked most of them individually. Nowadays, though, I listen to it quite a lot, and as an overall album I think it's almost on par with Born to Be XX (which is still their most perfect release to me).
When it first came out, my immediate favorites were Lips Hips Kiss, Tell Me, K Bye, and Think Twice. I wasn't a fan of Painting or Slide at all. They sounded too similar to me, and neither one really stood out. A year later, though, I genuinely enjoy every song on the album.
Slide in particular grew on me so much. It's such an easy, enjoyable listen. And Heart of Gold is another one I appreciate way more now — the girls sound amazing on it, and Julie sounds especially good there too.
My current ranking would probably be:
Tell Me > Lips Hips Kiss > Slide > Heart of Gold > Think Twice > K Bye > Painting
I really like the way this album grew on me over time.
It was a difficult era for a lot of reasons, but I loved all the stages and styling. The members looked fantastic throughout the promotions. My only complaint is that I wish they had promoted another song besides Lips Hips Kiss, Tell Me, and K Bye. Something softer or more ballad-like would have been nice. Personally, I think Heart of Gold would have been a great choice. Unless I'm forgetting something, I only remember them performing it once during that era.
As for the physical album, I actually thought it was pretty nice. I liked the photos a lot. That said, I do hope they move on from doing magazine-style versions only. That's more of a personal preference than an actual criticism, but I'd love to see something more creative or unique in terms of packaging, it's something I prefer to buy. It doesn't have to be anything extravagant, I just miss albums that feel a little more distinctive.

If we compare midas touch-sticky with who is she-next summer comeback, with the dates and everything:
MT - started being teased around march 12, official announcement was on march 15 and was released on april 3.
Sticky - official announcement june 21, first teasers june 24 and released july 1.
Who is she - announced their comeback in january, first teasers between march 16 and 18, and released on april 6.
i know it's hard to say when they could officially announce the comeback or when they will start releasing the first teasers or the comeback day officially, but the dates seemed pretty similar for me. so based on that, what are you guys thoughts?
i think they will officially announce by the end of this week or until next friday. and the official day, my guess is that the next comeback will be between july 10 and july 17.
don't know if all this makes sense lol but as i said, i noticed the dates were quite similar so anything can happen.
