Where is the best place (in your own experience) to find editors?

I’m sure that this question gets asked a lot but I wanted to save this for future reference. I already have a YouTube channel with videos up and gaining a small amount of views.

I plan on growing this before I get an editor, at least to make sure my investment isn’t for nothing.

I’m not going to be looking for a top tier editor, just someone who can make the videos look decent enough and add some things to spice it up every now and then.

I’ve looked on different sites and I don’t know exactly what I’m looking at or what correct pricing is.

Like I said I’m not looking for one RIGHT NOW, just for the future when I’m more established. So any app, site, forums or places I should check that you the reader love the most would be much appreciated.

TL:DR; What sites, forums, apps and pricing do you look for an editor?

Is itch.io safe to download games from?

I’ve been looking into itch.io and there are so many games I want to play but I’m worried about getting Malware because I saw that some users were getting it or viruses. Is there a way to ensure that this does not happen to me or is there anything specific I should steer clear of?

Any advice is appreciated and if there are different gaming sites I should use that are safer and provide indie games I would love for you to suggest them!

I need some bullshit mess around stupid or straight psychological horror games

I need this for Windows 11, I mainly use steam at the moment but I’m open to any other indie game site that is VERIFIABLE. Also preferably games that are single player :)

As far as stupid messing around type games I like goofy stuff like TABS, Cockroach simulator, ape war and just goofy simulators.

On the other side of that I also like psychological horror games, but I don’t want very popular games to play as far as that goes. I want it be made by some dude in his basement alone. Constant jump scares aren’t necessarily my thing but I can get through them. I just like creepy mysterious stuff.

So if there is a site other than steam I can look at to find some of this please point me in that direction, as long as it is SAFE.

Note: I do like friendslop games and will take recommendations but I’m mainly looking for single player games.
