Can hashimotos cause weak muscles and joints?

I was diagnosed this year with Hashimoto's, but my numbers aren't "bad" enough to warrant meds. My doctor just wants to monitor. He also told me diet and exercise wont help my symptoms, but dont worry, I am ignoring that advice and trying to stick with low inflammatory and mediterranean diet.

Anyway, about Oct of 2024 I pulled a muscle or slipped my si joint (they aren't sure what happened) when I twisted in bed. It felt like a pop and then immediate pain and hunched over. Since then, I either pulled muscles or popped the joint out painfully and couldn't stand or walk, on average once a month for a year. I did PT and chiro visits and finally am at a better place. In the last 6 months, ive pulled my gluteus maximus once and messed up my si joint painfully one time. So, progress.

However, I am frustrated. I am 31, and while I do wish I was about 20 pounds lighter, at 170 I dont think weight is the issue. The bloating and fatigue make it hard to consistently work out, and when I do I am insanely sore the next day.

With the new diagnosis in mind, could it be Hashimoto's to blame?

Does anyone else have an experience similar to this?

My friend also suggested ehlers danlos, however my doctor doesn't want to look into that with me. I have spent 7k and years of my life just getting the Hashimoto's diagnosis, so I am at my wits end.

Second time my seats have looked like this, any brands for seat covers youd recommend?

As shown in the picture, my seats have started splitting, 2021 Sport.

At 30k, I had the front one replaced under warranty for this exact same issue. Now, 25k miles later, it has happened again.

I am not rough with the seats, I wear jeans that dont have buttons or sharp items, in fact I usually wear dresses or soft pants. Im just really frustrated with my Crosstreks quality lately, for ex my transmission had to be replaced at 55k miles.

Anyway, can someone recommend an affordable (in under 200) set of seat covers to protect from further damage? Also, does anyone know a good kit to order to diy a temp fix for the tear to prevent it from getting worse?
