What happened to make it where drivers would risk a fiery crash rather than miss a turn?
When I started driving in the late 90s, if you made a wrong turn or missed your exit, you just drove a little farther and turned around. Happened all the time in the era before GPS. Now, every day I see at least one car stopped in the middle of a busy multi lane road with their turn signal on, like if they don't turn right now then the road will disappear or something. Is it GPS's fault, or something fundamental in the way kids are brought up these days?
