Motivation Letter Review and Tips

Hi All,

I am applying for DAAD EPOS and I have made a LOM draft for my application. I need help to refine it. Any seniors/scholars who can guide me, preferably give a quick review would be really helpful (DM please)

Please let me know any tips on refining the letter as well.

Thank you!

Help Guidance required

Hi,

I have received admission to the University of Stuttgart for the winter intake this October. At the time of applying, I was aiming for a scholarship and did not plan to fund my studies myself. I was also not fully aware of the tuition fee requirements at this university.

Now, I am considering applying to another university through uni-assist, where the application deadline for the winter intake is in July.

Given that the German visa process can take around 6–8 months, I am unsure about the best course of action:

Should I use the admission letter from Stuttgart to apply for a visa appointment and get into the waiting queue, and later apply to a different university for the summer semester? My assumption is that by the time I receive a visa appointment, I would have admission from another university. I have not enrolled at Stuttgart and do not intend to, due to the tuition fees.

Alternatively, should I apply to the other university now, wait for their admission letter (likely by August), and then apply for the visa? In this case, the worst scenario would be that I begin studies in the summer semester instead. Best case I get admission to another university for the summer semester and use that in visa application.

A concern I have is that if the visa process requires proof of enrollment, I will not be able to provide it for Stuttgart since I cannot afford the enrollment fees.
