Need help with a buzzcut

Currently suffering from medication induced hairloss with no hopes of recovering unfortunately. Always had long thick beautiful hair but now I need to rock the buzz, I feel like my forehead is too big and I don’t suit it at all. :(

A warning for minoxidil users and a cry for help

Hi everyone,

I'm 24 male and I have had a full head of hair my entire life, Ive recently suffered hair loss that has completely shattered my self esteem and has made me quite depressed. I had a full healthy head of hair but read online that minoxidil could thicken my already healthy hair and make my eyebrows thicker as well. i decided to use topical minoxidil on my temples and eyebrows to improve my hair and after around 3 weeks of use i noticed an intense diffuse shedding allover my scalp. i continued usage for around 4 months but seen no improvement and i also got tired of the constant application. i decided to stop the drug cold turkey and now Ive had intense heavy shedding for exactly 6 months and 3 weeks with no signs of it slowing down or improvement in density. i see some new regrowth at my hairline but no overall improvement. My father went bald at 19 and everyone on my mothers side has a full head of hair, i highly doubt this is AGA related as i had extremely full and healthy hair before starting the drug, all my shed hairs have the common "white bulb" as associated with telogen effluvium, my scalp also feels very itchy and sensitive. If anyone else has also experienced this, then how long did you suffer from the ongoing shedding phase and what were the first signs of recovery? Many thanks.
