I need help finding a new doctor

Hello, I am trying to find a doctor that I can get to within a few days because my current care at Lawrence Family Practice is subpar. I’m very frustrated and dealing with my symptoms constantly, so the sooner and better the doctor the better.

I called LMH West Campus, Iowa St, 6th and Maine, and now the East Heights location with no luck, all booked at least a month out. Any help is appreciated.

is pet insurance worth it?

hello all, i am hoping i am in the correct subreddit for this but please let me know if i should move this somewhere else.

one of my cats is in need of a comprehensive dental cleaning, her first cleaning. shes 8, a domestic shorthair, and has some plaque on her back teeth. the vet says it would be around $400-600+ depending on if they need to remove teeth, do other labs, etc.

i have been seeing offers through the app my vet users for various pet insurance companies and i have to ask if its worth it? some of the deductibles are high, some of them dont offer as much coverage, some of them rule out exam fees. is this the right place to ask for advice on this? is there one company thats better than others?

i dont know if this would count as a preexisting condition since she went in for a physical exam related to her having some vomiting issues, but if the dental cleanings become routine or she needs other care, would it actually save me any money?

A wasp wants to live in my doorframe HELP

At the beginning of my lease here, the storm door had began falling off the top hinge and got stuck and locked me outside. Maintenance came and just took the door off, but left this tear in the framing that has been there ever since, and about a one inch hap between the top of the storm door and the exterior frame.

I never really paid any mind to it until I went to take out my trash and noticed a budding wasp nest inside the hole. (It won’t let me add a picture but thats all thats really relevant)

How can I close the gap between the door and the frame? Most things I see online would be permanent, or require me to take the existing framing apart and replace it, which again doesn’t work because I am renting. Do I just leave it to maintenance? My only concern is they’d never even get it done or we would have bigger problems in the interim. Any advice appreciated!!

do i need to worry about my cat

cat, spayed, 8, f, about 11 lbs, located in US

my boyfriend got me flowers last night and they were a small pot of kalanchoe. i usually remember to put the flowers he gets me out of reach but was exhausted from work and my cat was chewing on some of the flowers this morning. i already got into him a out getting nontoxic flowers especially if he leaves them out too.

i don’t think know if she swallowed any but it looks like she didn’t get to much of it before i came down. do i need to take her to a vet? what should i do?

she previously has chewed on some rose petals but just threw them up later on.
