Hi everyone,

I’m looking for an experienced GCSE English tutor to work with a student studying the Eduqas (WJEC) GCSE English specification.

What I’m looking for:
• Strong knowledge of the Eduqas/WJEC GCSE English specification
• Experience teaching GCSE English, ideally with Eduqas specifically
• Familiarity with the exam structure, assessment objectives and mark schemes
• Able to provide engaging, structured lessons and exam-focused support
• Previous tutoring/teaching experience preferred
• Strong GCSE and A Level English Results

The role:
• 💻 Online tutoring
• 📚 GCSE English
• 📝 Eduqas (WJEC) exam board
• ⏰ Flexible scheduling
• 💷 Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience

This is a tutoring opportunity through my tuition business, Best Path Tuition.

If you’re interested, please DM me with:
1. Your teaching/tutoring experience
2. Your experience with Eduqas/WJEC or if you are willing to learn the Spec (please specify)
3. Your hourly rate
4. Your availability
5. Any relevant qualifications (I’ll need certificates but for now just your grades can be shared).

Please only apply if you have genuine experience with the Eduqas/WJEC GCSE English specification, as familiarity with the specific exam board is important for this student.

Thanks!

Curious to know because he did an extremely long live stream and it’ll take up time going through all the questions.

SOAS Alumnus here - I personally studied Arabic and Economics and achieved a first class honours.

I’m going to repost this in a months as I’d like to give some tips to future students.

Wishing you all the best on your new/existing course!

GCSE and A Level results just came out within the last 2 weeks - I’d love to hear how your students did and what made them successful or less successful.

What was a common theme between high achievers, why do you think those who didn’t achieve highly did so (so we can learn)?

What would you like to see on r/SOAS?

Hey guys, I’ll leave this open. I’ve been tutoring for over 10 years across a wide range of subjects.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.
