Books on limerence, unrequited love

No psychotic crime thriller or anything. Just a character hopelessly obsessed with someone, unrequited love, melancholy vibes, may or may not come to terms with reality.

People who love books and have made a career in literature

I don't know if this question would be allowed in this sub but I also don't see why it shouldn't be.

Just curious if there are people who out of their love for books pursued a career along those lines. What path did you take. It doesn't necessarily have to be a writer. You could be an English teacher, translator, etc.

Books where where nothing happens, yet interesting

Where we're let inside someone's mind or maybe the character is going through their day. No plot yet unputdownable. Preferably a short novel.

Suggest books where nothing really happens yet it's very interesting

Where the character is perhaps just going about his/her day or where they're simply thinking and thinking and we're made to enter their minds. Basically no plot but still super engaging type read.

Just finished this

A queer love story with writing so beautiful that it makes you yearn for a love long lost.

However the book is a little predictable with the usual melodrama and sort of formulaic.

Have you read it? What were your thoughts?

Suggest books on looking back at the past, lost youth

Where the character is contemplating a life not lived, feeling bittersweet about turning old in the blink of an eye, lost youth. Preferably a short book.

My bengali wedding looks

I wore banarasi saree for the wedding and reception (last pic). The pink saree was a normal silk saree whereas the lavender one is tissue kanzeevaram. The yellow saree and the white and red saree were cotton sarees. The lehenga was from Amazon.
