Alph-Art was eventually published in its unfinished form rather than completed by another artist as Herge's wife didn't want somebody to continue the tintin series. Would you support an artist finishing off the alph art story in herge's style and potentially continuing the series or do you the think the series relies on herge?

Personally I feel like he'd be a pretty bad father, as he's always travelling everywhere. He's also a bit reckless sometimes and takes too many risks.

Personally mine is that much of flight 714 to sydney is actually a hallucination tintin experiences, which explains why it is so unrealistic compared to the other tintin books. I also think tintin could possibly be a secret agent.

Out of all the tintin books, in my opinion, broken ear is one of the best. There are lots of fight scenes, an extremely exciting plot, a mystery to solve, and you see Tintin get out of all sorts of scrapes and troubles. The way he becomes friends with the general and then has to find the arumbayas make for very fascinating subplots.

In my opinion his fighting style aligns closest with old school western boxing and he obviously never grapples. He probably trained in boxing which is he why he has an extremely good cross and uppercut. As someone who does train in martial arts, I'd say his weakness is in wrestling. He's also great at surviving fights and has amazing cardio and durability.

I have a smallish youtube channel with a little over 1,000 subscribers. Lately it's kind of been blowing up, and one video got over 100k views while the others are also increasing in the thousands, with very high engagement rates. My audience has a very high engagement rate..a video with around 2k views got 200 likes and 45 comments.

I want to funnel some of the more dedicated supporters into my Patreon, and I always leave a pinned comment linking the Patreon, and saying this exact phrase "Want to support the channel and get some extra content?

The comment always gets lots of likes but people never actually subscribe on patreon, even though I offer clear benefits, link it on very high traffic videos, and make the membership affordable ( it's literally £4 ) a month.

My question is, am I doing something wrong? I have a following and the videos get a lot ofvery engaged people who love them, but I still have 0 patreon members. Is there a reliable way to get people to subscribe? Does anyone here have any tried and tested methods?

Which way do you think Tintin's ideology lies? Is he more on the left or the right? Personally I strongly believe Tintin is a small c conservative. He's not a total right winger but certainly a moderate conservative. He seems to respect individual freedom and property a lot, and even when Alcazar asks him to help with the revolution, he does not go because he likes revolution. He goes to help Bianca and the Thompsons.

I want to know what everyone's really unpopular opinions are about Tintin. I'll go first. .

In my opinion, tintin is not actually a good fighter and relies more on agility and speed. His boxing skills seem scrappy and self taught. I think he wins a lot by timing and improvisation, rather than overpowering people.

When someone is actually physically imposing, like sailors, gangsters, soldiers, etc, Tintin usually doesn't stand there and trade punches with them. In this way I would say that what he's actually good at is surviving a fight.
