I just posted my first video on YouTube a couple days ago, and the editing sucked. It’s got multiple unnecessary points where the clips shouldn’t even be there, and I wanna have TTS, because I don’t feel comfortable with showing my face or revealing my voice.

I’m looking for an editor who would stay in the journey, and edit videos for me for a long time coming. This will be long-term.

Here are my requirements for the editor I want:

- At least 16 years old
- Has 8 months or more of experience
- Can start editing within 48 hours of completion of recording
- Able to work on multiple projects at a time when needed (rarely)
- Can provide samples of videos they have edited to prove they have experience (30 second videos are fine)
- Able to edit full videos in 5 days max
- Ability to share videos over your cloud storage account (doesn’t matter which one)

Hi! I’m looking for a reliable long term video editor for a growing collectibles and pop culture content brand….

The brand is currently in the middle of establishing a rebrand, and I already have a strong idea of the direction I want to go visually and creatively. I’m looking for someone who can emulate what I currently have, maintain consistency, and then work with me over time as we continue refining the style and growing the brand together.

I don’t need someone to completely reinvent everything from scratch. I need someone who can understand an existing aesthetic, recognize what works, and help elevate it while keeping the overall identity cohesive.

The content is primarily short-form and long-form YouTube/social content centered around collectibles, characters, storytelling, showcases, and pop culture. I’m looking for someone with strong pacing, clean editing, good visual storytelling instincts, solid music and sound design, and the ability to work with B-roll, images, text, motion graphics, and an existing editing style.

Reliability is extremely important. I work on a publishing schedule, so I need someone who can realistically commit to deadlines and communicate early if something comes up.

This is ongoing paid work, not a one time project. Ideally, I want to find someone who becomes familiar with the content, understands the brand naturally, and grows with it instead of having to relearn the style from scratch every week.

The more detailed you can be about your concept, scene composition, camera angles, pacing, references, or specific shots you want, the better.

Maybe this isn’t the right sub, but I was kind of hoping someone could make a montage of my kids best football plays and even add an announcers voice over. I’m fine with adding AI stuff or totally inventing plays that didn’t happen, I’m just looking for a fun thing to show him, he’s only 11, so it’s not like I’m sending this to scouts or anything, just a funny thing for our family to watch and laugh about. Especially would love an announcers voice over talking about him like announcers do when NFL rookies make a great play or score their first touchdown.
