Productive weekend
Started with a finished cockpit and engine, I assembled the rest yesterday. Painted the pilot and installed him, then masked and installed the canopy and reprimed everything to leave me at this point.

As the title suggests, I'm looking at purchasing this kit at some point in the future. I've read reviews on the Hasegawa, Academy, Airfix, and Italeri kits as these were the only notable manufacturers I would consider based on what I know of them. With the Hasegawa and Academy being out in the lead in overall quitly and fitment and the Airfix and Italeri trailing well behind with lesser marks in those fields.
I'm looking to hear more from those who have made any of the aforementioned manufacturers kits or others that I've not read about so I can purchase said kit with the most input I can beforehand.
I appreciate any and all advice this community can give, thanks!
I was today years old when I found out that transfer sheets across the board are $37+ a sheet. 😳 Seriously!?
I get it. It's James Workshop, but daaamn, for a sheet of decals? On top of that, you get a limited count of each regimental unit number, which is what I need to complete what I'm doing.
Granted, they are nice, and you do get a wide variety, AND I realize that you most likely get a sheet in each box. However, if you get combat patrol or other large box sets, it's not nearly enough of the regimental numbers to cover everything in the box if you're trying to make a single regiment.
Ok, rant off, thanks for listening to it. 😆 Hope everyone is having a great day doing whatever you're doing!
