Me and my partner have built a larger cage with acrylic panels and a 3D printed structure. It’s wider and taller too as she kept escaping the old cage. She has 7-8 inches of bedding in the wood chipping section and I have ordered another bag so that it can be twice as deep.

First time hamster owner so any improvements, concerns or suggestions are welcomed🫶🏼

I’m an anxious hammy owner and keep worrying about her health as she was rescued from not ideal conditions.

I was wondering about bedding and sand baths, which brand in the UK are best recommended for their respiratory health?

Does her breathing seem normal while resting?

(If anyone knows facts about hamsters nose’s too that would be great! I’ve been told lots of different things and not sure what her nose should look like anymore, is it sore?)
