3 pm, no rain in days. Moisture meter still reading over 17 on most spots, even areas that have been in direct sun all day. And I’m using two different brand meters. I’m using Ready Seal through an airless Graco Magnum DIY type. If it were YOUR fence, what is the HIGHEST moisture level you’d shoot it?
How do yall manage to get anything stained and sealed in the South? My fence won’t even think about getting below 20% until about 4 pm. In direct sunlight most of the day. No trees around. I’ve got 4,000 square foot’s to do.
Anyone have passion fruit vine growing that I can dig some roots from? I tried propagating a cutting but it’s not working out.
I’ve got a privacy fence. Over 4,030 square feet. It rough pine, the contractor grade generic fence. About 3 years old and has never been stained or sealed. I’m leaning towards VALSPAR or READY SEAL. I’ll be using an airless sprayer to apply. Recommends? And I figured the square footage out by linear measure. It’s still got the horizontal 2x4’s and vertical 4x4’s to accommodate into my volume. Just use a percentage or something?
I’ve got a (imo) pretty large privacy fence to clean and seal/stain. What are some good and economical products? It’s several hundred (maybe over a thousand feet) linear feet long. I’d rather NOT do a lot of scrubbing as I’m 66 and lazy like that. It does have mildew at the bottom because it was installed too low. Money isn’t a big big issue, just a big issue. And is there anything that’ll restore some moisture to the wood? Oils? EDIT: I’m planning on a manual pump sprayer for the cleaning and an airless electric for seal/stain.

6.3 mm. To hold 6 or 8 AWG stranded. I’ve been to car stereo shops, every electrical supply store in town. Largest that I can find are for 10 AWG. Can’t find on Amazon, eBay, crutchfield..
