Need a help with finding new channels

I’ve been into creepypastas for a really long time and I’ve been listening to them pretty much daily for around 15 years. The thing is, I’ve always listened to them in my native language.

Lately I’ve been thinking about checking out some English-speaking creators and finding some new channels. The problem is that even though my English is pretty good, I’m not really that used to listening to it.

I often put creepypastas on when I’m falling asleep, so relying on subtitles isn’t really an option. Because of that, I’m looking for English-language channels with a more accessible narration style. Something where the narrator speaks clearly, pronounces words well, with good quality sound, maybe talks a bit slower, and is generally easier to follow for someone whose ear isn’t fully used to spoken English yet.

Any recommendations?

Just to start off — this isn’t some big theory of mine, and I’m not gonna lay out arguments to prove what I’m about to say. Like the title says, it’s just a random observation.

I’ve noticed that after the latest episode, pretty much everyone is taking the whole Lake of Tears concept and the spider Ethan saw very literally. But I started wondering... if that was some kind of dream or vision, maybe it’s not meant to be taken so directly.

What if the “spider” that people are afraid of is actually MIY? If he’s the mastermind behind everything, then he kind of fits that role. A “spider” sitting in the middle of a web, collecting victims and going after them when the time is right.

The Lake of Tears itself could also be metaphorical. The town might be the lake. After all, nothing but horrible things happen there, and there’s been plenty of suffering and “tears” spilled.

In that case, “finding the lake” wouldn’t mean literally searching for a place, but rather looking at the town from a different perspective, which could lead them to some answers.

I mean, there’s a lighthouse in the forest, no actual body of water anywhere nearby… but there is a town.

Like I said, I’m not claiming this is a solid theory or that I even believe it myself. I’m just a bit surprised that people are taking the whole concept so literally and grounded.
