so i used to work at a dog daycare making $10 an hour, 42 hours a week. i called out one day, and the owner of the establishment basically said to come in or don't come back. i'll add that my mom was sick at the time, and i had to take care of her because she could barely walk. i read over the policies for calling out of work and nowhere did it say anything about a certain amount of hours/days you could call out sick without a doctors note, nor did it mention anything about sick leave.
she gave me an ultimatum for calling out. it was either work possibly sick and spread whatever i had or lose my only source of income as a college student, in a small town where there aren't many jobs available.

during the time i was working there, i was not only doing my position, but my coworkers as well, who, might i add, was present, able-bodied and capable of doing her own job. my coworker couldn't do what she applied for because of the "smell" of HER position, which was a bather. never once was i acknowledged for my help, and never once was i returned the favor; instead i got ridiculed by a manager saying "i should've been doing my own job" while she was correcting another coworker for being bossy. during the time i was "supposed to be doing my job", i was running around doing other people's jobs to make sure all the dogs were taken care of, while everyone was up front chitchatting and doing anything other than their jobs.

if you're working at dog place, it's quite literally inevitable to avoid dog poop, bile, etc. dogs aren't exactly the cleanest animal, especially with their tendencies to roll in poop. safe to say i did not come back. the place was just overall toxic.

i know it takes a while for them to add new groups but i need them to hurry up and add cortis, i want a live theme for them so bad 😭 and they need to hurry up with bts' new album cus i know they are gonna have a new live theme for them too
