I accidentally loaded into solos instead of fills with a sprite I like, so I figured I’d extract it and leave. At the extraction site, I got the sprite out before someone shotgunned me, stopped, and stared at me. They then dropped a Bounty Hunter Crown Sprite at my feet and ran off. I debated extracting it and leaving (as I apparently already had it) and I really hadn’t intended on playing solos, but then I thought, screw it, I’ll win for them. I bush camped because I’m not confident in my solo abilities given how long I’ve been playing squad fills, and because I didn’t want to lose the chance that had been given to me. I made it all the way to final 2, where my opponent was heavily damaged already… and I mastered that sprite. I hope that Roxas is proud of me 🫡

This morning ~an hour after release I was averaging 2-3 per match. Woke up in the evening, played 4 matches, haven’t gotten a single one. Haven’t seen any eliminated opponents drop any either. Feel like they screwed something up again.

Is it a weekly or is it available for the whole season? Also is it available to everyone to complete or just bp owners? Thanks

Since my last discussion post blew up I figured I’d post a similar question I’d love to see variety on.

My favorite characters are Mara Sov, Cayde-6, Ghost, Failsafe, Fynch, and Orin. My least favorite characters would probably be just one and that’s Drifter (please don’t kill me).

For anyone even somewhat good at the game, they understand how important mobility is.

When I first found my Llama Sprite, I was incredibly curious as to how it would work. My assumption was that it would randomly choose an item in your inventory and upgrade it if eligible; boy was I wrong.

People do not take multiple seconds to view what they’ve looted. They grab it and go. This is infinitely more true for ammo crates. Ammo crates get MAYBE a 0.5 second pause before the player continues on the move.

So tell me WHY the developers EVER thought it would be a good idea to make the eligible upgrade a FULL-ON POPUP SCREEN that INSTANTLY disappears the SECOND you move away from the ammo container???

The first time it popped up, I didn’t even register it before it was on the move again. Once I realized what had happened, I was enraged. No player would EVER condone the idea of needing to stop movement (or move otherwise unnaturally) where one of the main aspects of the game is to get to a desired location as fast as possible.

People loot, and continue running. Absolutely NO one stops for a full two seconds after opening an ammo crate to even register whether there’s a popup to upgrade their weapon. It’s unnatural and not how the game was developed. Ammo crates are supposed to open and continue running. There is no reason to pause for ammo crates.

They made the Sprite in such a way that people will need to reprogram their minds and purposefully move slower specifically so that the screen doesn’t disappear and their Sprite can be useful.

Waste of a Sprite and I will NEVER voluntarily use it. It’s the third worst Sprite in my opinion, third only to the King Sprite (I’m ZB) and Punk Sprite. I’m not changing my movement and the way my mind processes the game so that I can MAYBE get an upgrade popup.

Either the screen should stay until you dismiss it, or it should choose one random weapon in your inventory to upgrade. A screen you can’t even comprehend showed up before you’re on the move again and it disappears is completely useless. Genuinely the worst idea for a Sprite; at least the King and Punk have good GIMMICKS- this one is just asking you to get shot down in later weeks when the Sprite won’t be around anymore because you’ve trained your brain to pause looking at every ammo crate.

I’m not a huge reload fan because it’s so insanely sweaty, but as someone who never played the Simpsons Season OR Delulu and the fact they’re adding a sprite to that mode, I think I’ll be playing it quite a decent bit. I think I’m most excited for proximity chat. I know people will be toxic but I also hope to meet some really nice people.
