I got a xiaomi box 3d gen and it works amazingly but honestly the remote sucks

I need something that has mute aswell as play/pause

Is there a cheap remote that's just plug and play and works? (like just pair it via Bluetooth or the "remote" section in settings and be done)

I saw people mention the ugoos ur02 or the g20s pro, but they also keep talking about IR and remapping with receivers which 1 I don't have 2 I wouldn't get anyway

Do these just work after they're paired? , maybe set that process to no battery save in android settings?

Me myself I'm skilled with tech I'm more worried about if it breaks while my dad's using it

So, even after all the updates it had, this thing STILL shoots up to 40 as soon as I open the camera app, reaches 42 even, it just keeps climbing

Don't even need to shoot videos or take photos, simply having the camera app open absolutely melts it

This has been an issue ever since I bought the phone at launch (terrible decision btw, I had decent expectations after 2 redmi notes before it but this thing is just terrible at almost everything) and nothing I've ever tried fixed it

I wonder if anybody has come across this too and maybe found a fix??

And for everybody saying "it's not terrible" it is, only good thing is the build quality with the glass back and the waterproofing, because

- the cameras suck terribly, they're worse in every condition than my old Redmi Note 10 pro from like 2019

- the battery doesn't last half as much as it should with its size

- the SoC would be a beast IF it was actually usable, but instead it throttles as soon as you do anything you'd buy a phone like this for, this thing gets so hot you actually can't even hold it

- And to add, shit like this happens, where you can't even say "well I bought a beast of a chip, can't push it but atleast it'll easily take pictures, do browsing or watching media" because it can't handle this either, I've had it reach 39 degrees just scrolling Instagram or twitter, surpassing 40 after minutes into a twitch stream, or a stream on a website, like you can't even di basic things it's insane

I also found a 100 lightning one, and a 45 lightning but i dropped it (the lvl 45) to light my ptera to flee, I flew back to get it again and i randomly found a timed Titanoboa (just level 30) because he ate the egg.

overall I'd say insane luck for my first ever trench run, I got the first egg, the lightning one with an oviraptor out a cryopod but then it got burned while i was carrying it with the ptera , shouldve just waited for the sickness to reset, luckily i had a breeding bunch of ovis at base

The run itself was easier than expected tbh, there weren't that many wyverns and on my leveled ptera it was easy to just kite them out and swoop back in
