1996 3000gt FWD. This job has been nothing but a pain in my ass. I did head gaskets on this car and it wasnt this difficult. My passenger side axel will not go in farther than this. The c clip goes past the entry point but will not clip in all the way. It is a gsp axel. Idk if its just a shitty axel but it went it fine on the driver side. Ive tried every vantage point, force point available. Ive tried hammering the end in by attaching the castle nut and hammering that. Ive only got the strut removed from the knuckle. Idk if thats important, im j giving context. I dont know what the fuck to do. Desperate as shit rn. Pls help

1996 3000gt base, driver side. I got a new cv axle. When installing the boot seems to cave in and fit weird and i got the axle nut torqued and the cotter pin doesnt fit. The new axle has this fat gear that doesnt go onto anything and the old one doesnt have it. And it seems this large gear is in the way of the axle fitting properly. Can anyone confirm?

1996 Mitsubishi 3000gt Fwd automatic. Been trying at this for maybe 3 hours. Cannot get this axel or intermediate shaft off. Yanking on it has done nothing. People online say to pry but theres almost nothing to pry on between both axels and its only damaged where my intermediate axel meets the transmission. Any help would be awesome im really struggling

Hello all, doing a cv axle replacment on my 1996 3000gt base. So the FWD automatic. I have made a mistake i believe. Im doing my driver side and I thought the replacment axle made it all the way to the transmission. I did not know there was such thing as an intermediate shaft. I had started prying at this intermediate shaft after disconnecting everything and damaged the seal underneath. I cannot find anything online about fixing or dealing with this or even how to get the cv axle off itself, what do i do here? Very confused and need help please

Ive unboltled everything and its just hanging freely, ive tried pry bars and screw drivers. It wont move. FWD Driver side. Any advice or help would be lovely

Found this small rubber peice covered in grease stuck behind parts of the frame and firewall behind where my battery goes. Its got a small hole in the top and the bottom side walls have vertical cuts on them

Ive got a slow leak coming from my car, put some cardboard under for a few nights and this is the drip pattern. This was underneath the transmission area so about next to the passenger side wheel. I assume its a pretty high up leak since the oil seems to be falling all over the place. Is there any place any of yall know about that i could take a look at before i start digging through my engine? Just to ya know, have places to check instead of looking blindly

It is the ash tray light. Was always off in my car until randomly it lit up today while driving. Is this a sign of something or just a weird old car thing

My hood is ever so slightly stuck open and after driving for a while it causes the hood to pop open as if i pulled the trigger in the cabin. Does anyone know how to fix this?
